Our Story

Doing good for ourselves means also doing good for our communities.

That was the intention for Sissy Pies when the concept was prepared from scratch in a small kitchen in Los Angeles. The idea: serve America’s favorite dessert… but do it better, do it for a good reason, and do it with equal parts sugar and sass.

Our pies are vegan and 10% of our profits support LGBTQIA+ non-profits. We call that a win-win.

Just like a pie in Anita Bryant’s face, our pies are totally satisfying and make a big political statement.

A little Herstory:

Pie-ing is a political act where a cream-based dish is often — but not always — thrown in the face of ideologues. While we don’t care for haters, we also don’t care for wasting such a good thing.

Our version of making pie political is donating part of our profits to organizations dedicated to doing good in this world. While we’re starting with the LGBTQIA+ community, we may rise to the occasion depending on the spirit of the times and donate to other causes. With a world in flux, the more love we can share to all people, the better it will get.

All you’ve got to do is buy the pie.

For the moment, we are selling exclusively in Provincetown, MA — that gay haven by the sea just two hours from Boston. You can order online or pick one up at the Provincetown Brewing Co.

We’re also happy to deliver to you in Provincetown or Truro.
